PLANNING & CONCEPTING
This project has to be the stand out piece for me. Massey Ferguson first approached us at the start of 2014 with the proposal of needing a website and strategy for their Antarctica2 campaign. They wanted us to pitch our direction for how they could pull together the three main components of the campaign:
- The reinactment of their expedition in 1956, when Sir Edmund Hillary became the man to reach the south pole on a machined vehicle
- The story of Manon Ossevort, or Tractor Girl, who has spent nearly 4 years travelling the world on a tractor, collecting dreams she would eventually take to the south pole.
- Why Massey Ferguson would want to take a tractor to the South Pole.
We proposed the strategy for the website, social and raising awareness through an experiential event. They loved it and got us onboard for the journey. Unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control didn’t get to do the experiential event but the site has been a journey in it’s self.
I was involved right from the early stage as lead creative designer and have seen it through to launch. I worked with a team of designers to get the site planned, features spec’d out with the dev team and to get the final designs complete. It has been a massive job but I feel very priviliged to have worked on it to the level and with the control I had.
As this site has so many features to show off I may break it down in to parts so watch this space.
I am pleased to announce that this project has been nominated for “Best B2B sector website, app or campaign”. The winner will be announced on 15th October 2015View nominations Visit Antarcticatwo.com
